As will become more apparent over time, I shall not hide my true love for the complete output of Terre Thaemlitz (AKA DJ Sprinkles / K.S.H.E / Chugga +++), its ALL incredible.  This one, on Terre's LEGENDARY Comatonse imprint merges the bassline from T.C Crew's 'The Key' with a rolling drum break from Nina Simone's 'Seeline Woman' with ruthless effect, it's the sort of blend that shouldn't work but let this one loose on the D-floor, stand back and assess the damage.  Terre's ability to plunge the deepest, subsonic depths with those trademark bass lines is still one of life's biggest mysteries, and when this one flips halfway through into this dreamy expanse.. ahh seriously,  is this not one of the best records of this millennium?  And that's just the A-side!!  B-side sets out under the same framework, but drops the tempo for a deeeeeperrrr listening experience, switching up that killer sampled bass line for a tinkle on the ivories.  And with all the Comatonse stuff, killer no-expense spared artwork and attention to detail.  HIGHEST recommendation on this one and just one copy unfortunately so no sleepin'.  (OG Comatonse press / Brown Vinyl + Sleeve NM).
