Hi-end contemporary classical on the great Camerata label featuring the percussive brilliance of Tokyo-based musician Sumire Yoshihara.  The A-side is comprised of two pieces, mostly featuring really sparse, traditional Japanese compositions for flute and koto, HOWEVER the B-side is taken up by legendary minimalist Steve Reich's staple 'Piano Phase' piece, this time played beautifully on the marimbas, allowing you to sit back and bask in the slowly time-shifting, phased beauty of this timeless piece.
