Squares and Triangles began in 2008, starting with experiments on a 4-track in a remote Swedish barn. In the ensuing decade, they have developed a language of improvised song-making, drawing from the histories of jazz and improvised music, 1980s American punk, and Scandinavian pop.
Lilt is their second record, released in 2018 after 2015’s “Hg” LP.
