Unrelenting percussion and chanting, interwoven in staggeringly complex polyrhythm finding perfect cadence, free-flowing and fully hypnotic. It's easy to understand how these extended sessions can conjure the presence of divine spirits, the perfectly locked communal sync of the group, raw, unrelenting percussion and spirited calls once endured for any period of time are properly transcendent.
