Yessss... that glorified sweet-spot where dub and industrial meet. A zone throughly explored by the likes of Stephen Mallinder, Mark Stewart / The Pop Group and THIS killer 12" from scouser Minister Of Noise. Urgh.. it's so good - 'With Heaven In Yer Head (Come To Me Dub)' lets off clattering snare hits / claps against a bouncy drum pattern, wah-wah guitar licks, clanging ivory hits and gargled vocals, all bobbing around 105bpm culminating in THE PERFECT CLUB TRACK. Plenty going on elsewhere though - 'Really Xciting' taking things druggier, with a sorta wheezing, ticking drum machine / Rhodes chord thing going on and again those pretty harrowing vocals giving the feeling that the old Minister Of Noise prob's takes himself a bit too seriously when in fact he's made a weirdly sentimental industrial track that's in ways recalling A Certain Ratio in ways with more wah-wah guitar, and AGAIN the previously mentioned Mallinder (Temperature Drop / Slow Down EP <3 ). That's more than enough to warrant the monies but incase your not convinced there's a few more dubbed-out heavy drum cuts that would be worthy of words if it wasn't for the above mentioned screamers. Not a bad one on here at all. Huge! (NM/ NM).
