2 B Real does the right thing by pressing up the prized Michael J Blood cassette as a 2LP for the DJs and home-listeners alike. For those in the know, this one's been slowly percolating for a while with Blood's sound takes equal measures of Detroit and Chicago influence, roughly stitched together with Dilla-like grit with heaps of MPC swing. Spread over two sides of the tape, we're taken on a red-eyed ride through the inner workings of Blood's hermic sound-world, cut-up, chopped and pasted back together by Wigan's finest (if not the worlds <3 ) DJ Tom Boogizm, who's unique, surgically precise slicin' n' dicin' finesse is worth your monies alone.
