Close to thirteen godforsaken years later Dozzy and Neel reunite as Voices From The Lake. Delivering unto us a follow up to their era defining 2012 album that was first released via the now sadly defunct Prologue, and re-released last year via their own Spazio Disponibile - which just so happens to be where this 2nd volume rears it’s head seemingly out of nowhere. The mode and process remains admirably familiar , and honestly at points you’ll feel they are treading the very same water - but as with the first set we’re gifted another glimpse into their rarified vision of hypnotic, horizontal ambient techno which quite simply has no parallel. In the absence of any statement shift or new suggestion, you are probably in or not arsed - but from our view it’s just an exceptional hour of music that’ll burrow and take root indefinitely if you let it - we look forward to III in 2038.
