Cimatario Fuexu Recordings presents—with absolutely no ill will—its most ambitious project to date: *Realidad Asturiana Extrema*. To create it, CFR delved into the archives of the *Equipo Estético Étika Makinal* (3EM) and affiliated entities. 3EM was a collective of very young artists from Mieres (Asturias) who, during the 1980s, tore down the boundaries between industrial music, experimentation, mail art, and Dadaist fantasies. While still mere teenagers—and amidst the regional economic crisis caused by industrial and mining restructuring—they built a body of musical and fanzine-based work with a futurist spirit, operating under various lineups and aliases, all while clashing with the local scenes of the era. This anthology spans everything from raw lo-fi to extreme industrial, and from twisted pop to near-ambient sounds. The LP also includes a booklet chronicling the collective's history and visual art. CFR brings you all of this: digging into the past, unearthing the diamonds, and delivering them straight to your home. (Mint / New)
