Low flying 7” from the French Mélodies Souterraines label ‘La Passion Du Bourdon’.The B-side here serves as the easiest (cheapest) way to own the cult Planet Ha Ha track ‘Home’ - reportedly supposed to have featured on Spielberg’s 1982 film E.T and released on EMI (?).It’s the ultimate oddball hit that never was, with deadpan, child-like vocal and the perfect slo-mo bump.Over on the A-side (which I foolishly neglected for a while on the strength of the Planet Ha Ha!!), rips through two original productions, the first from German duo Art Teachers whose cold, industrial yet inexplicably funky coldwave cut recalls Stephen Mallinder’s best stuff whilst an unknown Parisian outfit wraps things up with an equally irresistible wonky wave bit.Three stone killers and recently given the boot from Discogs..
