Label: Pinakotheca – PRL#1 Format: Vinyl, LP, Compilation Country: Japan Released: 1980 Genre: Rock Style: Avantgarde
Notorious and at times very challenging Japanese underground compilation showing the emerging DIY scene in Tokyo and beyond at the beginning of the 1980s. Released via the Pinakotheca label, this is the precursor to the infamous 'Infecund Infection' 2LP that would follow a couple of years after. Notable for it's inclusion of early Keiji Haino pieces alongside Intension's very bleak untitled minimal synth cut and inclusion from Vedda Music Workshop which would later sorta morph into Ché-SHIZU. A historical release in the canon although not at all for the feint of heart. (NM / NO INSERTS).
