Fuse-sizzling French library action from one-man synth warrior Roland Bocquet for the 80’s RCA Media catalogue.  There’s no obvious consistent theme apart from the heavy emphasis on synths and rhythm composer, but Roland manages to offer something for all DJs, listeners and samplers alike with the sparse, future-facing, mid-tempo electronic cuts ‘Robot Bleu’ and ‘Moto’, whilst ‘Asia’ offers a synthesised view of the east with ominous pitch-bend melodies.  Special mention goes to ‘Exotique’ though, a mysterious, electro-bossa-nova-esque drifter with heavy flanging effects that’s the perfect snake-charming curveball to wangle into any techno set..
