Foundation-laying synth works from Swedish national treasure Ralph Lundsten with his '72 LP Fadervår (Paternoster). There's a definite narrative arc to this one, with Lundsten soundtracking his own private fantasy land of chirping new-age pastures and darker, more foreboding passages through field-recordings, treated textures, processed vocals and more, with a heavy emphasis on the organ. Highly atmospheric and engulging with just the right amount of '70's cheesy prog undertones. Recommended. (Vinyl & Sleeve VG+).
