Big split release from NWW and David Jackman's Organum project coming via Stapleton's own United Diaries stable.  The long form A-side piece ‘A Missing Sense’ is an eerily tense, heavily restrained sound collage comprised of a constant high pitched drones and subtle electronics together with spine chilling vocal effects that culminates into something genuinely terrifying.  David Tibet features on the Tibetan (is it human thigh bone?) trumpet, adding to the visceral nature of the piece but it’s the close mic’d, intimate human murmurs and Stapleton’s unique ability in the mix that adds that singular hallucinogenic / psychotic charm that’s so typical of the finest NWW moments.  Jackman’s Organum piece on the otherside takes us fully in.  A cauldron of guttural throat drones and orbiting, wispy vocal utterances that mimics descending down into the pits of hell.  INCREDIBLE.. if that’s your thing.. (NM / VG+ ((tiny seam split in the top)).
