Two of the Hungary's finest experimental musicians Tibor Szemzo and Masik Janos share the fame on this 1990 LP taking a side each to provide the soundtrack to obscure independent moving picture Meteo.  Anyone that's familiar with these two artists will probably know they're DRASTICALLY slept-on, apart from the loyal crew that know and love their work.  This one perfectly represents the aesthetics commonly associated with both musicians - a blend of crisp minimalistic drum programming and Tibor's trademark shimmering, icy flute stabs and Janos' tumbling drums and awkward, straight-jacket funk.  There's eastern-referencing atmospheric passages in between and all-out drugged chuggers that could be worked onto more accepting dance floors but really this is one of those unique records where genre-categorisation completely breaks down the more you push it.  Would LOVE to see the film!  (Mint / ex-deadstock copy).
