Second, physical release for the year is this tape, consisting of two side long tracks by Otepoti’s LSD Fundraiser. Described as ‘basically tape loops played on tape recorders onto 4-track then, mostly, live mixed’, they generate some racket.
Side 1 ‘Gregory’s Implant’ is all 80’s paranoia NZ- style cloaked in a percussive forward motion which arrives to soundtrack some planet-smashing ritual. Flip over to ‘Outside Artist! You’ve Been Inside All Day’ starts with some vocal/instrumental strum action that could be straight out of Gothenburg and 17 plus mins later you’re dancing with aliens. (Mint / New)
