Crazy obscure privately released minimal electronics LP from Dutch composer Ernst Oosterveld originally constructed for a mime performance. It's been a little while since I've discovered something that simultaneously pushes all my buttons at once, but this one really does; 'stripped, primitive DIY electronics - check', 'absolutely zero commercial potential - check', 'wild clashes in textures moving from quaint lullaby sketches to full-blown fuse-erosing electronic meltdowns - check'. As we've seen with a few (re)releases over the last few years, there's a REAL sweet spot where experimental theatre and music coincide (Colman, Vito Ricci ++), and this one is a real unique example of when unshackled from commercial world and given direction the results can be magical. Entirely unique LP. (Ex-deadstock // NM++).
