More lonesome but inscrutable postcards from the other side via Enchante on Jolly Discs.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m pretty sure these guys are operating out of some alternative universe. A partially destroyed UnLondon where wilfully art-damaged uk club music is is the only way to communicate. Here on the latest instalment of Guy Gormley’s multi-volume Mind in Camden series we find a seance of smudged synth and non-verbal voice notes bookended by two severely blunted takes on a kind of neurally disordered Croydon dubstep. Whatever spirit is at work here they seem desperate to break through. Illegible automatic writing appears on a chat room wall. Broken loops trigger obsessively and distress signals drift into the void. More of this please.. (Mint / New / Cover art by Goncalo Neto - shop please get in touch for wholesale)
