Second outing from Bristol’s Lo-fi / Post-Rock front runners Crescent sees them at their loosest and most strung-out - a supremely dub-damaged concoction of post-rock fragments steeped in home-brewed electronic exploration.Actually a solo LP from band member Matt Jones (also of Movietone), each piece freely assembles scrappy drums, warbling synth-notes and remnants of odd radio dialogue, enriched with shaky surges of sub-bass and piss-taking levels of distortion and grain.Uninhibited bedroom expression in its crudest form for those late night listeners on their ones.A big one here and now tricky to find.. highest recommendation!
