Another incredible compilation from RVNG Intl who bring together respected composer Craig Leon's first TWO highly sought-after LPs (Nommos / Visiting) for the only fully sanctioned re-release by the artist.  Leon's otherworldly 'Inter-planetary Folk' literally sounds like nothing else, evocative of ancient civilisations gone with the times, through not-at-all old fashioned.  I'm guessing it's what raves sounded like when thrown by the original inhabitants of Easter Island; a sort of square root of industrial, proto-techno and new-age but also none of those things.  A tricky one to put into words but completely life-changing nonetheless.  (NM)
