Two slabs of Danish mega-multi-instrumental invention beamed in from the mind of prolific experimental composer Peter Ole Jorgensen, also known for his work as Global Guaranty Orchestra, but here advancing the 4th world imprint into another dimension entirely. Undoubtedly music for it’s own sake, what’s not to enjoy about a group of Dane’s getting together and letting loose on whatever instrument is close to hand. But thankfully this isn’t the sound of of people rearranging furniture or some stiff upper lip free improv blow out, the guy’s sound somewhat rooted in downtown NYC no wave, goofy jazz motifs and their own take on various ethnic musics resulting in a loose-limbed style that sounds like little else other than itself. Ultimately a fun, half-cut, skewiff suite of unrestraint amateur recordings operating on it’s own plane of reality. Great cover too! (NM/NM)
