"‘Tributary' is an album inspired by a sense of Space, Place and Community, particularly the region of north Northumberland where I lived in the same house for 40 years, and where I watched a social scene of like minded people gravitate into the area, and then over time sadly diminish and vacate.
‘Tributary’ is a document dedicated to the land and the folk of that scene in the Breamish Valley and its surroundings, it is indeed a tribute to what once was a truly beautiful and thriving tribe that came to make up a friendship circle and brought a vitality and energy into all of our lives."
