Tabi Tapes is 3!  Next mixtape from the in-house engine room comes via Portland’s Jed Bindeman, head of the excellent Concentric Circles label, co-owner of the Little Axe Record store and co-overseer of the RVNG offshoot Freedom To Spend.  So yeah, Jed’s pretty well placed for discovering lesser-known music, having un-earthed material from the likes of Carola Baer, Ixna and Jack Briece via his own label, or Richard Horowitz, Rimarimba, Ernest Hood and so many more together with Pete Swanson via Freedom To Spend.  The mix here reflects the aesthetic of both these imprints, perfectly sequenced and shifting through a batch of home-brewed, minimal, private recordings, DIY electronics pieces, contemplative modern classical, outsider art-rock and scruffy synth / wave.  The home straight drafts in song-selections from the Eastern European avant-garde, undefinable left-field pieces and soul-stirring classic American folk.. some you may know, some you won't and a lot that’s unlikely to be heard outside this humble mixtape.  Super special.. behold!  Limited edition of 50 with handmade artwork, download available upon purchase. (mint / new).
