May 2025; to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Creel Pone in style, it felt only right & natural to finally commit to the last piece(s) of our beleaguered "Creelpolation-2" & we're overjoyed to launch here the long-awaited [CP 115-1 CD] - a two-disc set of "Sides" (ala the original "Creelpolation-1") featuring extended and/or side-length pieces for Guitar & Electronic Music and/or Feedback (taking some liberties w/ the "Sides" concept, but it's all for due cause) by Davis Joachim (Otto's son), Roberts Bauer & Daigneault (from their incredible "Guitar Extensions" LP), Daphne Oram & Thea Musgrave, Michel Dintrich & Philippe Drogoz, Leo Brouwer, John Wager-Schneider, Javer Daris & Angel Cosmos, Amadeu Marin & Llorenç Barber, & The Soundeffects. The process of combing through & whittling down the dozens upon dozens of submissions & loaned titles over the past decade has easily been our biggest ongoing Achilles' Heel until a few late-stage discoveries lit a path forward & ushered in this conceptually perfect program, clocking in just shy of 2.5 hours of incredible works for Classical & Electric Guitar / Amplification accompanied either by Tape Music or Live-Electronic intervention (tracklisting to your left below)! This selection has been near & dear to my heart since the early days of Creel Pone & I'm ecstatic to finally share the research & the music with everyone!
