Incredible and seemingly completely unknown field recordings (? I think) LP from Tunisia (maybe). There's a real variety on offer here than seems to transcend the occasionally dry field recordings format, moving from ensemble pieces, solo flutes, stirring and smoked out Rebab skits and hypnotic drum patterns in a range of textures and timbres. A real spread of beautiful North African music with Arabic influence, hugely atmospheric and a proper samplers dream! (Vinyl & Sleeve VG+).
