Deadpan and DERANGED recordings from notorious, somewhat mythical Japanese psych / noise band Les Rallizes Denudés led by reclusive underground legend Takashi Mizutani. Make no mistake, this lot are the real deal and their cult following is not without good reason - active since the late 60s but refusing to actually release any music, instead relying on illegal bootleg recordings traded between fans to bubble to the surface, whilst their notoriety was boosted to extreme levels when their bassist joined the Japanese Red Army Faction and got caught hijacking a passenger jet in North Korea. All mischief aside, their music is suitably INSANE.. with the undeterred, monolithic titled track ‘Blind Baby Has It’s Mother’s Eyes’ running for an amphetamine-fuelled 20 mins - a sulking juggernaut of unashamed repetition with grab slabs of piercing distortion all shot through a dimensional phaser and rolled out into a heavily psychedelic funeral dirge.
