Incredible, mind-bending pieces from huge favourite Keith Fullerton Whitman.  Homage is paid to the 'Grandaddy of us All' La Monte Young on the first track 'Twin Guitar Rhodes Viola Drone' - which is exactly that.. feedback laded harmonic drones with beautiful wilting, somber rhodes lines, whilst 'Obelisk' recreates the sonic space of a huge echo chamber and is more abstracted.  B-side opener 'Rhodes Viola Multiple' takes up similar themes to the first track, yet more tempered with overlapping notes gradually swelling due to the effects from guitar pedal, leading us the final piece 'Schnee' - an early iteration of what would eventually develop into the much-adorned 'Playthroughs' album, featuring processed guitar notes and mallet drumming (NM/NM).
