Highest-calibre dub techno slab from German demigod Torsten Pröfrock, the sainted producer who holds the highest position on the alter at ANF, unleashing a cyclone of dub-drenched metallic static under his one-off Erosion alias. Erosion is a the most appropriate moniker for this one as its this theme that underpins the whole EP - the A-side is a relentless, monolithic pounder heavily saturated in fog and driving forward unchallenged for a good 11 mins, whilst ‘2’ is reduced down to more trudging, sparser arrangement with fizzing dub chords firing off and ricocheting into the distance. Structures fully degrade on ‘3’, leaving a dense, hallucinogenic whirlpool of washed-out metallic chords and dense layers of churning tape hiss. The best to ever do it, no joke.
