Brilliantly inventive and enigmatic all-caps collaboration between TRJJ from TRIIMusik and C3D-E of Globex fame.
Here’s an excellent self-released 6 track sharpener of humid bumpy rhythms and dross smoke atmospherics that operates in the zone of indeterminacy between Toulouse Lowtrax and Hassel’s Last Night the Moon. Drum lines twitch and slither, tuned percussion rolls over and happy sad pads surface to breathe over everything. This is the best kind of auteur dance/head music - deep and disorientating, but detailed and addictive - brave enough to sit in the pocket and do everything and nothing at the same time.
Not that we recommend dabbling in the occult, but if you fancied a trip via the astral plane to where the old gods dwell this might be the perfect preflight soundtrack.. (Mint / New)
