Self-released CDr from British expat Thomas Bush who dives straight down the plughole with a 30 minute uninterupted session ‘Transit Songs’. The sound of proper misery, caught in a feedback vortex of 6am paranoia and confusion - Bush’s effecting vocals and trademark bare guitar picks gyrate around each other before collapsing into broken, strung-out outcries…’Nothing To Drink’. We’ve all been there. The sun breaks, percussion gets tangled in delay, a baby gaggles in the background and the guitar notes get softer, then the rhythm box comes in carries us off into the distance.
