Craig Tattersall and Andrew Johnson raid the vaults for a collection of previously unreleased pieces from their much-loved yet still kinda over-looked The Remote Viewer project.  In case ya didn't know, The Remote Viewer formed off the back of Leeds-based indie outfit Hood, which both Tattersall and Johnson were a part of, acting as a outpost for an truly original style of delicately constructed melancholic ambient-pop, produced with equal dollops of technically astute bedroom-electronica and a certain strain of Lancastrian miserablism that's entirely unique to the piss-wet moors and mill-towns of the North.  In parts its twee as fuck, yet its done with the upmost sincerity and most minimal of means that the moods they create entirely genuine and intimate, yet the reference points aim towards usually more clinically inclined material from SND, Arovane, Phonem ++.  Something that once you discover you'll keep coming back to.  Very much a product of the North, so much so that it couldn't possibly come from anywhere else.  Highest recommends.. (MINT / NEW).
