Beautiful, serene ambient-bliss from UK-born yet longtime Japan dweller Morgan Fisher with his much sought after masterpiece Water Music. Personally I've yet to find anything that matches the delicate tranquility of this one and it is resemblance the the works of Hiroshi Yoshimura or Satoshi Ashikawa are uncanny; more specifically Yoshimura's 'Soundscape 1: Surround', which released just one year after makes you wonder if Fisher and the late Hiroshi were pals in the mid 80's. Regardless, for anyone who's manage to miss the recent exponential surge in interest in this very specific pocket of 80's Japanese ambient music, Fisher's gentle, minimalistic compositions are as fragile as a snowflake and gracefully unspool into moments of pure, intimate joy. Potentially the high watermark (definitely the prettiest) in the British artists varied discography and increasingly difficult to find.
