Another homerun from London's Well Street Records and label mainstay Loop LF who continue to develop their unique sonic aesthetic blurring the boundaries between broken percussive / proto-dancehall and dub techno with an acute ear for contemporary sound design. First up is the tightly measured, half-step reduction 'IZ 200', followed by breezier dub-techno dreamscape of 'Drifting Forwards' with its casual swing. Flipside cut 'C Rota' ups the tempo for a more abstracted moment of tension and release with intricate rhythmic interplay and big depth-charge low-end drops whilst 'Mondo' is a looser affair in that typically stoned but detailed Well Street Style. Four hits each with their own aim. BIG. (Mint / New).
