The holiest baptism into the world of musique concrète on this 1982 LP from GRM mainstay Francois Bayle. Through a variety of electro-acoustic methods, the Madagascan-born composer renders waves of uncanny, 4th dimensional micro-sounds amidst otherworldly textures and timbre akin to being plunged deep into the large hadron collider and close mic'd at atomic level. The B-side however is one of THE deepest listens available with the 20+ minute of epic 'Toupie Dans Le Ciel' where Bayle takes flight with warm, mollifying drone swells underpinning a barrage of eyelid-flicker inducing intel that gives the feel of being contacted in some sort of alien language we're still far, far from being capable of understanding. Many questions prompted with this piece, although here could it be that Bayle has finally tapped into the very logic board of our planet Gaia? Total mindblower, backed by those beautiful original INA-GRM foldout sleeves, including (French / English) with incredible photos of the ridiculous sound-making apparatus. We're not worthy!! (Vinyl NM ((very small noise on intro for 20-30 seconds)) / Sleeve NM (with book) - ask for pics / sound-clips if unsure).
