It's a unique amalgamation of so much - taking threads of post-punk attitude, searching Bill Laswell-esque bass strafes, awkward straight jacket robo-funk and odd mutant elements, fully re-rendered into it's own free, carnival-like soundworld. There're traces of Liquid Liquid in there, mixed with the more rapturous bells 'n whistles moments of A Certain Ratio - but ultimately this lot are out on their own.
