Mysterious German head-scratcher released sometime in the early 80’s from shadowy duo (?) Mentocome via their own very short-lived Giraffe Rec label.  Very little info to go off online about this one, apparently one of the artists Axel Grube was active in the Dusseldorf wave / no wave scene (Mutterfunk?), whilst the other (Rainer Rabowski) headed up obscure cassette label Klar! 80.  This one exists much within the later’s world.  It’s a varied assemblage of eerie atmospheric pieces - sullen, dank industrial drones littered with mechanical interference and metallic clamour propped up by sludgy, blunted rhythms falling over themselves.  Feels like a lazy comparison but there’s certainly a feel of Werkbund / Ulrich Rehberg, in the sense that its really the machines doing the talking and not that of a human.  Elsewhere, there are VERY sparse, bordering on empty minimal electronics and texture pieces that are actually quite unsettling, closer to what I imagine it sounds like on a U-boat as opposed to actual music, whilst one short and lonely piano piece stands out for all its caught-in-the-rain beauty, sorta in a similar vein to Robert Haigh’s early ambient bits.  Very varied and very weird, quite rightly deserving its place on the notorious Creel Pone bootleg series.  With insert!!  (NM / VG+ - sleeve has some damage to spine, see pics).
