The label mobilises its most trusted foot soldiers and commemorates it's 1st Birthday (awww) with a world-ending compilation of frighteningly fresh produce. Fuck, where to even start with this one, feels like we've all been completely blindsided by this crew. Label returnee Beyaz drops another signature, glitch-indebted distillation with 'Femur' (Version), followed by the scattier 'Short Of Breath' from Genghis Cohn, drawing comparison to any of the weirder fluxus stuff or that Slowscan EP from Henning Christiansen, really. The previously mentioned rudeboi Gamba provides another round of pummelling / pulsating tekno that doesn't blow it's beans too early, whilst Kesa Getame's blistering 'ardcore recalls some of the HATE Soundsystem stuff albeit much radgier (?). Still going! Swallow's wilting post BOC chords meets torrents of distorted, pock-marked drums in a piece that really shouldn't work that well but it DOES, followed by two of the FINEST dub-wise cuts from Kaval Yahudah and Rezka these deprived ears have laid ears on all year. Don't worry if you don't recognise any of these names cos neither do I.. EXCITING. Could go on and on but yeah you get the picture, this is special. Edition of 20. (MINT / NEW).
