Incredible privately released early 80's LP from multi-instrumentalist David Oliver with his solo debut Lizard Grows On You.  Trapped somewhere between distilled spiritual jazz and more traditional American minimalism, Oliver's impeccable piano technique manages to settle into complex rhythmic relationships with ease and still offer distinct moods.  It's extreme virtuosity with soul.  Moving through the beautiful piano styles on the A-side to duets and solo with marimbas, xylophone, bells and more on the B, Oliver's unique style is a perfect example of how, if executed correctly, the maximum effect can be induced by the most minimal of means.  Recommended if you're into Lubomyr Melnyk, Steve Reich, Midori Takada, etc..  (Mint / Sealed / Ex-Deadstock).
