Two premium pieces of introverted UK techno from Luke Slater under his earlier The 7th Plain alias for GPR.  Set much in the mould of the early to mid 90's golden era of blissed-out UK tekkers that saw the likes of B12, Likemind, Radioactive Lamb and many more leading the charge for emotionally engaging dance music that maintained one foot in the club and another in the chill-out room / afterparty / arm-chair (delete as appropriate).  A-side title track 'Astra-Naut-E' flaunts future-facing but Detroit indebted technoid charm and feels like it coulda been a decent inclusion to the Terminator 2 Judgement Day soundtrack where they're all fighting at the start, whereas the flip, offering a 'Reprised Version' of the incredible 'Seeing Sense' from '4 Cornered Room LP' takes a lonelier route, free-floating in the endless expanse of space whilst gazing back at mother earth in your spacesuit.  Too much love for this stuff.. (VG+/VG+).
